The Airpark

We stacked our domino selves

Into the vehicles-

In search of the bridge we'd seen from the freeway.

The ice cream at my feet sweated out

the klaidescope roads

And just as the sun dipped its finger

into dusk

We dead-ended at a fenced-in Air park.

The runway blinked merrily at us

as we scooped the smelted ice cream

We laughed as we licked the drops of ice cream sweat from our cones and

The air began winking--

Fireflies flitting the dusk while

Our children giggled at

the Magic wrapping around us.
